It's not really my backyard. I have to drive up the hill then hike for half an hour to get here. This is Coal Creek Falls which tumbles merrily down the other side of the mountain on which I live. My mountain is also home to cougars, bears, old prospectors, and bathing hobos (I thought the noise coming from the creek was a bear, but then I saw the sweatpants draped over a nearby bush. Then I saw the campsite with caution tape around it. Then I ran.)
I took these when I first moved here. The falls are HUGE now. Not that it matters. It might for the bathing hobos, however.
